Overall Satisfaction with Prophix

My company uses Prophix for budgeting and forecasting, and consolidated financial reporting. With the use of Prophix our company's budgeting process went from a two month process to a two week process.

We have users that still use Excel, but we are getting more users on the platform this year and hope that we will be out of the Excel model this year. Prophix is very user-friendly and allows our users to put detail in their budgets that was difficult to manage in Excel.

Before Prophix we used on premise Budget Maestro, we did not have good results from their software, it was buggy and its processes were antiquated. We chose Prophix for its consolidated reporting capabilities and to get all of our companies that are on 3 different ERP systems on one reporting platform.
Prophix took our payroll budgeting from a two week process to a two day process. It is very user-friendly.

Growing with Prophix

Get the customer success package. Red Carpet is a wealth of information.
Prophix allows me to provide HR head count reporting for budgeting and forecasting.
Prophix has a great team, our implementation was very smooth and any time I have an issue and have to create a ticket, the response time is phenomenal.

Using Prophix

We utilize cell commentary and line item details. These features allow us to make comments for users and provide quick analysis on budget vs. actuals.
We are only using template pre-population at the moment, but look forward to using multi-tiered allocations in the next budgeting cycle.
30 - Our executive leadership team access Prophix frequently to review dashboards and monthly results. Our directors and managers also have access to Prophix dashboards and their monthly department reports.
2 - Prophix doesn't require a lot of support. Our support is mostly of a technical nature if we need to change our import process from our ERP system. Some of our users are more technically savvy in Prophix than others. There are a couple of us who understand all of the features and can provide support to others as needed. Prophix takes very little time to support.

Integrating Prophix

Prophix is easy to integrate, we did not have the help of our IT department due to workload. We were able to integrate it with just a couple of hours of IT time, which was mostly for Prophix to access our system.

We integrated two ERP systems with Prophix, our consultant wrote the export/import process, but it did not take them more than a few days.

Prophix is very flexible and once you learn how it works, it is easy to use.

Prophix Reliability

We have had great success deploying Prophix.
I don't think we have ever had an unplanned outage or any outage.
If you try to pull too many companies into an import or process it can slow it down, otherwise, it's super fast.

Relationship with Prophix Software

Prophix has been really easy to work with.
Prophix has great customer support.
Can't think of any principle terms that were meaningful.
Prophix is reasonable, we didn't have any problems dealing with them.
