Overall Satisfaction with QuickBase

QuickBase is being used by the operations department to coordinate, track and report on deployments. It provides the necessary tool to be able to track all installs/events and locations in one place. QuickBase also provides the means to deliver reporting on a schedule or as needed basis. The reporting is extremely flexible and allows the user to choose and drill down as much or as little as required to provide the necessary overviews. The graphs are very useful.
  • Ability to track multiple events for given locations
  • Ability to provide scheduled automatic reporting
  • Ability to provide graphical reporting to visually depict results
  • Ability to drill down into reports and separate various data
  • For my purposes, I do not see any room for improvement.
I use a deficiency tracking table that is linked to the events table to effectively track to resolution all deficiencies on a given event. I am also able to report and break down the deficiency by cause, type and responsibility. Thus helps to improve future deployments.
In my case, I am able to easily copy an application to create an application for the next deployment. I am able to figure out how to set up the tables mostly without assistance. I do have some technical background which may help.
  • Building and deploying an application (or multiple applications) that meets our exact needs
Yes - QuickBase has allowed me to develop an application that suits my needs to track deployment projects.
I was able to import new locations into an existing table. It took a couple of tries to get it right, but once I learned how to set up the Excel file it was a breeze. I have used this functionality on many occasions since.
QuickBase is extremely well suited for deployment style situations. The ability to have locations listed and then have events' tables linked to the locations and then having a deficiency table linked to the events makes tracking and reporting a breeze.
