Overall Satisfaction with RingEX

I mainly use the RingEX app on my iPhone to make and receive calls. I also have the app on my work laptop but since my earbuds are not connected to that device, I prefer to handle all of my calls on my phone. It emails v-messages, which is convenient when I am unable to take those calls. Voice-to-text is not perfect but I get the gist and no need to listen to each v-mail when I don't have the time. I also like how I can set my out-of-office message easily and swap out my recorded greetings in a snap. The audio quality is always very clear and the calls never drop. RingEX is reliable and helps me do my job efficiently.
  • Voice-to-test sent via email
  • Easy to update the status (i.e. out of office)
  • Easy to change the recorded greetings
  • Reliable and clear calls
  • User friendly app
  • Voice-to-text is not perfect. They can't never get my name right
  • Desktop app always defaults to 'my room' but I prefer to see the list of calls
  • Forwarding a call feature always asks if I also want to change my greeting - not always
  • Flexible remote work - huge positive during the pandemic
  • View v-mail in text via email in timely manner - allows easy delegation
  • Customizing call options including easy setup for business hours and out of office
RingEX has been very reliable and it was inaccessible only a couple of times (due to power or internet interruptions, not RingEX's fault) since my employer switched from the landline a little over four years ago. I am pleased with its clear call quality and all of the convenient features it offers.
For my persona experience, it cannot quite consolidate all communications. I still user other tools like Webex, Teams and Zoom to conduct meetings and chat, even though RingEX offers both features. Different people (both internal and external) use or prefer different platforms, so it is not possible to centralize everything, unfortunately. I wish it could be one platform that can do everything for everyone but that's not likely possible.
I use RingEX almost exclusively for calls and have never used its video features but I think the audio quality and features are better than Teams. I have been using Skype for over 20 years and Webex for over 10 years, so I am more familiar with these platforms for meetings that require video or screen sharing. Zoom, ironically, is the least favorite platform for me and it is also not used often at my work place (and becoming less popular in my social life as well).

Do you think RingEX delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with RingEX's feature set?

Yes

Did RingEX live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of RingEX go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy RingEX again?

Yes

I have used RingEX for both in-office (traditional phone) and from home (iPhone) scenarios and the call quality are excellent in both situations. It is important for that to be seamless as I don't want any issues while on a call with my clients when working remotely. I think RingEX is a welcome addition to any business and can't think of a scenarios that it is not appropriate.
