Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct

We use Sage Intacct as our Accounting ERP which houses most financial data and processes. We have integrations with several other systems to form a complete ecosystem of technology for our data. We use Sage Intacct for consolidations and to account for each our foreign entities as well (UK, Canada, Philippines, Indonesia, India). Our finance department is the business users then we have several other employee users that use it to submit invoices for payment.
  • Financial reporting.
  • Integrations with other systems.
  • Intuitive user interface.
  • Education and training.
  • More options in financial reporting (with breaking down data by dimensions).
  • More options in security and user access.
  • More flexibility/customization in dashboard charts and graphs.
  • Less time reconciling.
  • less time to close the books.
  • More intuitive financial reporting.
  • easy to use and build reports.
Yes, we use the AP and purchasing module which has approval workflows. We also have our AR and cash management processes fully automated and integrated with Salesforce as our CRM.
Sage Intact makes working with multi-currencies easy. We transact in several currencies and have several entities with different base currencies as well. All the technical accounting for these transactions, for intercompany transactions, and the consolidation is completely automated within the system so we know we are in compliance with GAAP.
We used Armanino to help us with the implementation and configuration. Their experience with other non profits made this extremely easy.

Yes

Yes

Did implementation of Sage Intacct go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Sage Intacct again?

Yes

Many more features than QuickBooks... much better for medium-sized businesses that have outgrown QB. Much better user interface, ease of use, ease to build reports, ease in navigating and customizing, less costly, less bulky, easier to integrate with other systems, etc. than the bigger ERPs like Oracle PeopleSoft or Sage 300.
Great for non profits!
