Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I am a manager in our Customer Service Department where we use Sigma to compile and report data related to our KPIs. We recently switched to Sigma company-wide for all our data needs. While I can not speak to the use case for the rest of the company, I use Sigma daily, monitoring dashboards to make informed decisions.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Great visual representation of reports.
Highly customizable to individual needs.
Intuitive navigation.

Cons

As a "viewer," I can honestly say I have yet to find a sticking point.

Return on Investment

The time I used to spend running individual reports has been replaced with instant access to dashboards. Hours a week have been saved.

Usability

I'm very impressed with how easy it has been for our team to switch to Sigma. There was almost no change management needed.

Support Rating

No need for support yet! As a customer support manager, I know that means this product is solid and reliable.

Alternatives Considered

Looker

Much better visualization, customization options, and real-time reporting.

Likelihood to Recommend

My experience so far is that Sigma is great if you want visually appealing reports compiled into dashboards. Our previous data management tool did not allow us to create dashboards pulling in multiple queries (sometimes completely different in scope ) into a single dashboard like we can now with Sigma.
