Overall Satisfaction with SolarWinds Network Performance Monitor
It is being used across our offices in the Americas but we are in the process of deploying it globally for the entire organization's IT networks. It addresses the problems of being able to quickly support network operations as well as being proactive in finding problems.
- It performs SNMP monitoring well.
- It is fairly easy to use even with minimal experience.
- It provides useful graphs and reports.
- Alert configuration is not the most intuitive.
- Automated mapping would be beneficial.
- It provides alerts for network/device outages, which is important.
- Bandwidth usage graphs are helpful.
The support is better compared to the open-source products that we have tested.
