Good service. Could use a bit more polish on the admin UI/UX
Overall Satisfaction with Splashtop Enterprise
We build digital interactive installations for museums, trade shows, marketing events, and public spaces. These often require PCs that we install at various locations. We use splash top to install our software on these machines and monitor them when support is needed. We also have about 15 machines in-house which we use for prototyping and other work. We also use splash top on these machines.
Pros
- Remoting in
- File transfer
- Easy setup and deployment
Cons
- The setup of user groups and computer groups has a very obtuse interface. It's like you let a developer pick the UI and not a UX expert. Managing both could be done with drag and drop lists.
- The splash top business app could use better organization. Right now all the computers are just a big list. A more scannable UI would help. Perhaps let users pick icons, highlight colors, or tags for individual computers or groups.
- It's more professional and more stable than Team Viewer. Switching has helped us be a more reliable company for our clients.
Eh, I'm not a security expert so I can't attest to the security.
It's only ok. The site needs a UI/UX overhaul. The interface for making computer and user groups is confusing.
Yes - TeamViewer
