Overall Satisfaction with Totango

Totango is being used by a singular department within our organization, but the information that feeds into the system and out of the system is used cross-departmentally. We use this product to keep track of how often we communicate with our clients, who we communicate with at that organization, metrics of how clients and users are using the product, and how often they are using it.
Totango helps us to understand if we are connecting with our clients regularly and keeping a record of what our client's needs are.
  • Tracking touches and tasks- the ability to easily input when we make connections and what connections we need to make.
  • Compiling data for individual clients and users - for each organization we can pull in metrics from many different products and services to the product and have it all in one place.
  • Success Blocks - The successblocks are a great way to keep track of daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly goals/assignments that need to be completed per organization.
  • More robust Plan Summary section. This section could be more robust, you can add tasks to different subsections, but additional notes could be helpful.
  • Editing touchpoints is still a little buggy. This could be better.
  • Better Custom Retention- the ability to have these UTD metrics, and record of communications with our clients helps us keep them engaged.
  • Additionally, Better Customer Connection- with access to these tools we are able to respond better to the needs of our clients.
This was not my call, but I would assume that our representative has been attentive to our needs and Totango provides the services that we need at a great value.

I have submitted tickets to Totango support and received questionable responses that do not really help or address my concerns, but I feel like this has gotten better recently.
It is an easy system to get started in, but learning the Successbloc and other tools do come with the need to do research and study.
Totango is great for Client/Account Reviews internally. Less so for external account reviews. I would not want to show the internal mechanisms and data tracking that we have for external review. It would be nice if there were features where we could compile data and export it in a way that would be appropriate to show the clients.
