Overall Satisfaction with TriNet
TriNet is utilized by the accounting department for mainly human resource functions and payroll entry. TriNet has many functionalities for all company employees. Employees have the ability to change their personal information such as their address, telephone number, and banking information for direct deposit. They can also change their exemptions for payroll taxes, print pay stubs for current and prior pay periods, and print employee forms. There are also links for employees to view their benefits and find contacts for their carriers. The ability for employees to be able to perform these functions assist smaller companies who do not have a personnel/human resource department.
- The TriNet Passport platform is user-friendly and provides employees many capabilities that would normally need to be processed through an HR department.
- The online payroll entry is very easy to use and you can print a report of your payroll expense immediately.

- TriNet provides a customer service number for all employees to utilize with extended hours 4:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
- Enabling administration to be able to update more than one employee at a time. It is very time consuming to search employees by name, make required change, save data and repeat process multiple times. A spreadsheet function would be very helpful.
- To somehow allow additional time in entry of payroll when there is a holiday. We currently have to come in early, stay late, or give up holiday time to try to enter payroll accurately when a holiday falls on the week of processing.
- More training in the capabilities of the platform, such as setting up split time between departments (I was shown this when someone came on site to get opinion of platform), and creating custom reports.
- To be able to have a second date when tracking time. We have had part time employees change to full time employees a number of years after their original start date. That employee once full time receives a greater increment of time than what they should because their years of service are based on hire date not full time date.
- Employees find TriNet very helpful due to the controls the employee is able to take on the platform

I have worked for the present company for 23 years. We have used a PEO the entire time I have worked here. TriNet's technology seems to be more advanced. TriNet also seems to have more employee capabilities.
