Overall Satisfaction with TriNet

Overall we've had great customer care from TriNet. There have been times when we've been connected to someone other than our regular rep. which requires a bit more explaining/context building.
Also, given that our home office is in CA and we have seasonal staff working in WY - we've had some longer then expected turnaround to some of our HR questions.
We love it. Our staff loves it. I think the new website is cleaner and once I've gotten used to the layout will probably find it as user friendly as the older layout.
We use TriNet across our whole organization. The platform functions as our HR resource including payroll, all compensation and benefit programs.
Our accountant, who is a consultant, manages the platform for the organization.
  • Payroll.
  • Handles any workers comp related questions.
  • Supports me in determining benefit programs for my employees and helps me navigate the myriad options available.
  • We've had some challenges understanding employment policies for our staff who are seasonal/consulants working in a state outside of our home office state.
  • There are times when we'd like to have a consistent representative at TriNet - I would say 90% of the time it's the same person, but there are times when we work with a different client rep. In mostly all cases, our issues are handled with little learning curve.
  • TriNet is our payroll and benefits expert.
  • It has been a great value add to our day to day work and has allowed our organization to stay compliant.
  • Our employees benefit from the platform, feel like they're part of a larger/professional organization.
  • Reduced dramatically the amount of time our accountant works on HR/benefit related issues.
See above. We're very happy with TriNet and will most likely continue to partner with them for the foreseeable future.
For a small organization like ours who don't have the capital infrastructure to employ full time HR managers, TriNet has been an invaluable option for us. We've tried some others in the past and have been pleased with the partnership up to this point.
Because it is a third party relationship, I imagine that a larger corporation would find TriNet less suitable to their day to day needs, but this is just an assumption.
