Overall Satisfaction with TriNet

We use TriNet as a department for Payroll and Benefits. It has simplified our payroll processing. Before using TriNet, we were using a different cloud software for payroll processing. The process was cumbersome and we had to do certain things manually. So we switched to TriNet to automatic processing and streamlined our process.
  • There are reminders in the system for Payroll.
  • Timelines are enforced.
  • Reports are easy to generate.
  • It would be great if reports [were] customizable, like month to month/biweekly.
  • Even though we are not using the timesheet feature of TriNet, there should be an option to upload our internal timesheet in Excel or CSV format.
  • Benefits plans should be organized based on the company employee's location. It is very difficult to go through every plan.
TriNet Live Chat is very supportive for a few things, but Connect 360 email customer service takes a long time (for example more than 48 hours) to reply for any urgent issues which really need to be addressed. Earlier there were some client managers who always address[ed] our concern for any queries. It would be great if TriNet got back the client manager[s] for their clients.
It is [a] user-friendly platform with little training needed.
  • TriNet has improved our Payroll management.
  • Employees can get their paychecks/tax document details and leave details on their own which reduces the tasks of HR/Admin.
  • TriNet helps the organization to stay within HR compliance which is appreciated.
TriNet has given COVID-19 updates time to time and helps to understand the situation like leave policy/how to handle by various newsletters/webinars.
TriNet is automated whereas the other one is manually oriented [and] takes a lot of time. Also, TriNet helps us to understand and clear our queries on HR/Payroll support.
As I said, Payroll/HR platform is well organized and user friendly, but when I needed some reports on Payroll/Benefits I could not get it as per our format. I have to use it manually.

Also when I look for Benefits plan[s], there are lot of options and it was confusing to choose the plan.
