Overall Satisfaction with TrustRadius for Buyers
I was looking for software to create easy to use applications from database information. I'm currently looking for alternatives to present to my team so we can make a decision as to how to move forward. My role is to do the upfront research to identify possible candidates for purchase and share it with my team to facilitate an informed discussion and decision.

Reading the reviews of others helped me create a short list of programs to research. Their specific pros and cons listed were well thought, well reasoned, specific, and applicable to my situation. I found the ability to distinguish between the size of business the reviewer worked in to be very valuable. It is important to me to know what other small businesses are using.
I look for specificity in reviews. The kind of reviews that offer both positive and negative sides are most valuable to me, especially when they present a clear conclusion. I want to know what works, what doesn't and how well it worked for you. Would you buy it again? What was the scenario you found yourself in when you purchased the software?
Reviews help me to broaden my perspective and experience without having to actually go through the experience. Having access to the reviews impacts my buying process experience by reducing the amount of research I have to conduct and can help me focus my research to be more effective.
- I like the long list of reviews for the program I was researching.
- I like that pros and cons are included in just about every review.
- I like that it was easy to use.
- Not all the programs I was researching were included in TrustRadius.
- I'd like to see more clear conclusions from previous purchasers or aggregate recommendations (e.g. 96% of reviewers say they'd buy or recommend).
- I'd like to see what industry the purchases were made for.
I used the website of the product and reviews on the website to compare across various alternatives. I also used alternativeto.net.
It was a great experience. I found the reviews to be more in-depth than other places which tend to be thumbs up or thumbs down without much thought given to description as to why the thumbs up or thumbs down recommendation was given. TrustRadius stood out to me with the ease of use.
