Overall Satisfaction with TrustRadius for Buyers

  • Zoom
We looked at using Callrail and GoTo Connect prior to settling on Zoom for our desk phone solution. Ultimately they could add the most value with a very rich feature set and the price point didn't break the bank.
We were looking to set up an in house call center to field the number of calls our businesses were receiving. We wanted to go remote with call center agents and needed a software that would allow us to have visibility into what they were doing from anywhere. We had 3 people working toward finding a solution and spent about a month reviewing software options and another demoing them before making a decision.
  • We saw more alternatives to what we were evaluating than a google search provided
  • When looking at a software or product, alternatives are suggested
  • Pros and cons lists make it easy to get a top view of the products
  • I find everything I need on the site
  • G2
  • TrustRadius
  • Capterra
TrustRadius tends to not have as large of a user base because from what I have seen, the softwares have fewer reviews. But what it lacks in quantity, it makes up for in quality as the reviews have detailed comments to follow up on users' experience in using the softwares.
I did not use analyst reports or rankings.
I am looking for reviews by someone in a similar industry. Use cases can vary, even if two companies are using the exact same product. I want to know that it will work for how I want to use it and that it is optimized for my industry. The breakdown of the rating is nice too, not just overall but features within the software. The other thing you can get a sense for from a detailed review, is how the company operates or communicates. That may dictate if you want to do business with them. In our latest example of Podium, the integration was the biggest factor in us using their product. The reviews were not great but they integrate with our current point of sale software which makes automation a breeze.
I still look all over to find reviews (including G2 and Capterra) but TrustRadius is very easy to navigate. It seems to be growing and the detail in the reviews is far greater than other platforms that may have more reviews
