Overall Satisfaction with UKG Pro
We initially chose UKG as our HRIS when we decided to leave our PEO in 2020. It allowed us to effectively bring all HR functions in house including payroll, compliance, time tracking, document storage, recruiting, onboarding, leave tracking, etc. We have 600+ employees at over 120 locations all over the USA. UKG allows us to manage our employee data and care for our team members.
- Complex location/pay group set up
- Time tracking, transfers and geofencing
- Request approvals/workflows for changes
- Customer support
- Timecard reporting
- Delegations
- HR is now a revenue generator vs. a cost center
- Time savings - fewer emails sent because changes can be submitted in UKG
- ability to manage all HR activities within one platform.
All HR functions are now in house because we use UKG :)
We had zero control when we were under our PEO. We had limited access to reports and data, were unable to customize the dashboard, and all changes had to come through HR via email. We have empowered our team members to be able to view and edit their accounts. Managers can see and update employee data. It is great not to be burdened administratively so we can focus our efforts on strategy
ADP was by far the worst platform I've ever used. Terrible customer service and so many inaccuracies.
Paycor was a close second but we went with UKG because it was more comprehensive and allowed for more autonomy.
