Overall Satisfaction with UKG Pro (formerly Ultimate Software UltiPro)

We use it across the entire organization for HR and Payroll needs. It completes our need for recordkeeping of employee data and facilitates all of our payments to employees including time and attendance.
  • The system is mostly well laid out.
  • There is good technology behind it.
  • Support from account managers is excellent.
  • Tax services have been severely behind.
  • Time and attendance module support is very lacking.
  • Getting an answer can sometimes be time-consuming and the answer can vary depending on who you talk to.

UKG is more integrated and easier to support. It's also more robust in the level of options available for services.
Generally, reports run timely and are easily accessible. Custom reports can be difficult to create. Automation of reports can be customized and is appreciated.
Support is mostly positive. There are chat, phone, and email options available. Phone support can sometimes lead to just opening a ticket and waiting, so having a faster reply would be an improvement. Reaching out to account managers yields excellent service though.
In general, when facing an urgent issue or something that is outside of the norm we can reach out to our account manager and get a reasonably quick response. If he doesn't know the answer he has the tools to get an answer. That answer is always helpful and therefore the support is excellent.
If you need to keep track of employees, new hires, terms, time and attendance, and payroll then UKG provides a well-integrated package. HR's procedures for new-hires flows well to the payroll team so that we can pay them appropriately and timely. Information from payroll automatically feeds into the time and attendance system easily. Everything flows smoothly and without much intervention.
