Overall Satisfaction with Vidyard

We primarily use Vidyard for sales and marketing purposes. Our focus with Vidyard is to generate leads so we gate detailed video walkthroughs. In the future, we will be looking into using Vidyard to create personalized videos for sales purposes.
  • Excellent customization. iFrames can be used and the event builder is very strong.
  • Great integration with HubSpot.
  • Strong analytics.
  • The event builder is super customizable which is great, but it can be a little tricky to use at times.
  • Immediately produced a new source of leads for us as we gated a video walkthrough.
Hosting-wise they are very similar but Vidyard allows for way more customization and is just an extremely flexible and full-featured tool. The HubSpot integration is stronger as well.
If you are just looking to host and embed videos then there are a ton of competitors in this space that do a great job. If you are looking for a full-scale video solution that is highly customizable then Vidyard is the way to go. It really depends on your needs.

Using Vidyard

5 - Our marketing team uses Vidyard and our Customer Success team uses GoVideo.
1 - The platform is pretty straightforward and easy to use so you do not really require special skills. That being said, since there is a lot of flexibility it is nice to have someone with basic HTML/CSS skills on hand to create events and CTAs in Vidyard if you want to get fancy.

We really like the fact that Vidyard is easy to use but also allows for a lot of customization.

Very easy implementation. We quickly were able to upload some of our videos and embed them on our site.

Vidyard Support

They have great support. Prompt responses and good follow-up. I submitted a ticket about 6 months ago requesting a certain report and when that report became available as a new feature they followed up with me directly to let me know.

The system is very easy to use and they have excellent documentation if you are ever unsure of how to do something.
