Overall Satisfaction with Webexpenses

The whole company uses Webexpenses for all kind of expenses that a team/individual has. There are various budgets in the company: personal development, team events, company events, travel and so on.

Pros

  • Uploading a bulk of expenses and be able to pick and choose.
  • How I can split up a claim for multiple people.
  • Currency conversion.

Cons

  • The UI is not very intuitive to use.
  • The system is unable to recognize the receipt's data.
  • I would assume it is saving a lot of time from the finance team.
Usually there are too many things in the screen. Also, in the receipts page, it is not clear that in one side you have all receipts and on the other side you have the receipts to be used in the claim.
Never used it.
It has been awhile, but Expensify was much easier for figuring out how to use it and also it would try to recognize all the details in the receipts (usually did a good job on that) like date, price, currency, provider.
I would say that depends on the value for the money. Because it does help the finance team to manage expenses, however, there are other tools that do much more like recognizing receipts, but I would assume they are more expensive.
