Overall Satisfaction with Webexpenses

We use Webexpenses to collect and process credit card expenses for around 30 employees.
  • Reads data from receipts.
  • Matches receipts to credit card transactions automatically.
  • Communicates with employees and approvers.
  • We have saved about 2 days' work by automating the link between credit card receipts and posting to Sage.
Very user friendly.
We previously had to manually input data for credit card transactions to a spreadsheet and then post the results into Sage. Webexpenses automates most of this process for the finance team, though we will need to spend some time checking nominal codes and VAT rates are correct, as this is now the claimant's responsibility.
We needed a system with an approval process which we previously did not have in place. We have set the system up to post to different nominal codes for different departments which means that we can tailor the choices of categories to each department and no one has to see the entire list of options.

Webexpenses seems to be pretty user friendly and simple to use. It is early days, but we have not had any complaints yet.
