Overall Satisfaction with WebPT

Would be nice to have it more integrated with our hospital's EMR as that is the system we bill and schedule out of, so a lot of duplicate work being done at registration, billing, and coding.

I have asked about sending the information from WebPT via Direct Secure Message, but not luck yet.

  • Nice Schedule, not sure if it can house multiple sites.
  • Our Therapy staff find it is easy to use as it includes supporting information for them such as on exercise options.
  • Up time seems to be pretty good and haven't had any issue with a breach since this is an online product with our PHI.
  • Integration of scheduling with our EMR
  • sending of orders and results via Direct Secure Message
  • it is a siloed program, so the monthly costs as it increases has us sometimes looking at utilizing our hospital's EMR as it doesn't require an additional cost.
  • Usability is good for the clinical staff. It is definitely tailored to their needs
  • Negative ROI is the increase in staff with this system as there is a lot of rework
  • System seems to be pretty quick in responsiveness and so far no cyber issues with our PHI on it.
  • Double entry and saving PDF files from it in our EHR seem to be another big cause of extra work.
Since it is used in a department it meets the clinical needs, but really doesn't help outside of that as we have a lot of duplication for administrative work of individuals using it. Definitely is good for a standalone practice, but not so much in a department setting. One of our previous PTs is who recommended this and they left, so it has just been what we have had to use since.
Hard to really say, since we do not bill with your system. It does get utilized for determining things that can help limit claim denials at the time of registration on the system based on insurance which is a benefit.

Since we do not fully use all of the features, but have to pay for them, it does make it more costly than using our hospital's EMR.

It is a well designed product overall.

Thrive/Centriq is a complete EHR, so hard to compare as it doesn't provide the same detailed level of use that WebPT does. So cannot honestly compare based on that.

Do you think WebPT delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with WebPT's feature set?

Yes

Did WebPT live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of WebPT go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy WebPT again?

Yes

It is a good product if you are a stand alone therapy clinic that needs all the bells and whistles. In our hospital setting it requires extra staffing since it requires a lot of extra work getting information into our primary EHR. We have yet to trial it in a standalone capacity at this point, but that is because our staff do not do the billing with it.
