Overall Satisfaction with WebPT
In my outpatient PT/Pilates clinic, we use it for our daily notes and all POC documentation related to PT services specifically that we offer. The business problems addressed include need for medicare compliance via progress notes within timeframes, need for doctor signature and communications, and WebPT all documents this well. We also have multiple clients who are seen by 1-3 PTs due to the part time nature of our work, and therefore WebPT also helps us with intra-team communication and updates on clients.
- Alerting when progress notes/New POC are needed.
- Making it easy to send multiple forms/information to doctors.
- Keeping close track of units and minutes in a session, and having us complete information/details to justify each use of units/codes.
- I like that it carries forward information from previous notes. I also wonder, though, if there could be a more comprehensive "archive" of activities we had done in the past rather than only copying and paste from the previous note.
- I like seeing a few comparisons of my outcome measures--when writing a progress note, I don't just want to see the last measure. Seeing the last 3-4 values from the test would have been helpful to really see different trends.
- Fewer click boxes in the evals would be helpful to keep things moving along at some points. I appreciate the variety offered, but also struggle with how much clicking there is to get through.
- Finances: I honestly don't interact with this part of the software in my day-to-day operations.
- Increased productivity; less time in front of the computer and more time in front of patients.
- Improved tracking of outcomes and timeliness in documentation.
We've had a positive outcome while working with one client in particular who is just a very complicated medical and neuro case. By having WebPT, we've been able to enhance intra-team communications and keep each other up to date much more efficiently than our paper records.
As far as I can tell, our clinic doesn't have clients interact with WebPT very much. Usually it is PTs plugging in information while patients give us their answers.
WebPT was much easier to use within documentation, having a singular interface rather than multiple core platforms to jump around in, and has been capacity for carrying information over between sessions.
