Overall Satisfaction with Wrike
I use Wrike to manage projects and track time spent on tasks. Our projects in Wrike are created using blueprints and request forms. The use of request forms to create projects allows external users to submit a request that automatically creates a project, saving a lot of time for project managers. Time tracking is used to show where users spend their time and budget correctly.
- Flexible project management
- Customizable Dashboards
- Assigning Tasks/Task Followers
- External Collaboration
- Gantt Chart Organization
- Task Priority Sorting
- Time tracking will allow upper management to see where engineering time goes and hire accordingly.
- Request forms and blueprints have made it easier to create projects with preloaded tasks.
I've used Microsoft Project to manage waterfall projects and Jira to manage agile projects. Compared to Wrike, Project has more features for waterfall management, but can be complicated to use. Wrike seems to have all the functionality of Jira with all the added features needed to manage with a waterfall style as well.
Wrike really excels in creating a platform that can do everything in an organized way. A lot of the flexibility of Wrike let's the user make of it what they want. Allowing waterfall or agile project management within the same program, something that Project or Jira don't do as well.
