Overall Satisfaction with ZoomInfo

ZoomInfo has allowed my company direct access to many industry contacts. We use the service to locate direct contact numbers and emails of potential customers. We also use ZoomInfo to verify information we receive from other sites. ZoomInfo has allowed us to generate reliable customer lists for each of our product lines to reach out to. It is specifically used in the Marketing department, but the benefits of ZoomInfo are seen throughout the company.
  • ZoomInfo regularly updates their contacts to ensure that their information is valid.
  • ZoomInfo Customer Service is diligent in making sure that credits are only spent on valid contacts. If you tell them their information is not valid, they will credit your account back for the invalid contacts.
  • ZoomInfo should think about updating their contacts more often.
  • ZoomInfo gives the best results by using the company website in your search. If they improve the search-ability of the company name, I feel it would make list building easier.

Our company uses both services to determine potential contacts. Google Scholar provides credible, academic contact names, but there is an amount of extensive research needed to discover contact information. With the simplicity of ZoomInfo, once a contact is found, it is nice to have all of the contact information on one page.
If you need to find "credible" academic contacts, ZoomInfo is not the resource to use. ZoomInfo is most useful when you need to find credible contacts in specific industries, especially Fortune 500 companies. The search capability by Job Title is something that benefits our company since we mainly look for Quality Control/ Quality Assurance contacts.
