Agile CRM

Agile CRM is well suited if an existing customer business process is defined or drafted thoroughly. Agile allowed automating workflows and marketing to improve lead management and suppress tedious tasks so users can focus on more important matters. However, Agile CRM costs can increase significantly if you want additional features and customizations. If you know what you're doing with CRMs and marketing automation or customer contracts and management then AgileCRM is worth a try.

Maximizer CRM

If you are looking for a solution which offers the ability to customize how and what data is stored, it is great for that. It is designed as a B2B solution however, so we used it for a B2C and required decent customization to resolve this.

Pros

  • Intuitive and provides a great user experience through its simple web design; takes no time to set-up and jump right in.
  • Offers integrations with multiple other software platforms to provide a flexible and inclusive business tool.
  • One of the best options available at this price point; plans available to add more features to adjust to your business needs.

  • It is VERY customizable and flexible.
  • Once set up, it is very easy for end users to search for and use the data contained inside.
  • Easy to set up security roles and permissions makes it easy to show/hide information based on the permission.

Cons

  • Reporting is lacking.
  • The more features needed, the pricier the plan.
  • Testing options are lacking.
No photo available
  • It is difficult to look directly in the database for information. This is mainly do to the flexible/customizable nature of the program. Because of this, tables and columns in the database are very generic and low level information can be difficult to find.
  • The ability to remotely sync in with the server and update the data can be very slow, depending on the amount of new data that needs to be pushed from the remote location.

There was a little bit of a learning curve and some bumps along the way to managing this platform, but AgileCRM appears to be responsive to any challenges that arise, which I consider to be of vital importance.

We are heavily entrenched in Maximizer and trying to pull our data out and into another CRM, with the same amount of customization and workflow would take a lot of effort.

Reliability and Availability

The training sessions are very helpful, because you have specialist that is available to answer any questions, guide you and coach you on how to dominate a certain feature of the platform. That being said,Whenever I have an issue that needs to be resolved, I can send email or call a support line. I usually use the support line.

Online Training

Agile CRM10.0

Each section of the AgileCRM platform has an instructional video that describes in detail all of the features of that section. I found this to be very instructional way to learn about each section. Whenever I had more questions, I could always schedule a conference call with a tutor..

Alternatives Considered

Saleforce - Too expensive.SugarCRM - Versatile. Free. But Slow.Filemaker - Originally designed my own CRMWhich gave me full control of all functionality. But having an online system that is hosted in the cloud provides considerable advantages particularly when allowing access to remote users.

We chose to go with Microsoft Dynamics CRM over Maximizer because of the customization and marketing options that were associated with Dynamics. The ease of use with Maximizer, however, was far better than that of Microsoft Dynamics.

This products Starts with a free Limited version. You can upgradeTo an affordable paid version with minimal features. There's also an enterprise version which is what I have. It's much more expensive, however it allows me to access the full range of features available.

Return on Investment

  • Helped business because there was a better understanding of the size and profiles of my leads
  • Negative impact - leads were labeled as hard bounce and couldn't send until a lead was deleted and added again. VERY time consuming. Luckily this doesn't happen much.
  • Negative impact - Fake leads are added on a daily basis. AgileCRM doesn't have a double confirmation of added leads. But I believe this is normal in many CRMs and can be managed.

  • The ability to have local as well as remote "sites" of Maximizer, that can sync in with the host server on demand is very nice.
  • The ability to create custom fields and objects to support how the business rules worked was the main selling feature of this product for us.
