Agile CRM

For small businesses who need one piece of software to do a lot for the money, their free plan for 10 users is awesome and upgrading is very good value. They are our go-to suggestion for clients who need a CRM and marketing automation but can't justify Hubspot from a price perspective. A CRM at the most basic can hold notes and contact details about clients, and this is all some users may need. That more advanced users can automate inbound leads and send emails on triggers is amazing at this price point.

Workamajig

Workamajig is great for larger workforces. We currently have anywhere from 10-15 people involved in different stages of a project. This really helps coordinate both comunication as well as work flow. You can have one person take point and help move processes along. It also has helped us create a more streamlined process and helps keep people from dropping the ball along the way. The biggest area for improvement in my eyes is the lack mobile capability.

Pros

  • Agile CRM makes it easy to find out exactly where we are with any potential deal. It tracks notes that we enter directly into the program as well as displays emails and related people and deals with the click of a mouse.
  • Agile CRM has some remarkably capable marketing automation capabilities that we are just tapping into. You can set up drip campaigns, automated responses, and with Zapier, you can do even more.
  • The Kanban style deal board… See exactly where each deal is and where we need to pay attention. In short, it shows us the next right thing to do.

  • Detailed scheduling for project management
  • Moving a task through a set process from one person to another
  • Being able to take a look at all jobs from a high level view to see where there are interruptions or pain points

Cons

  • The newsletter part is a bit clunky compared to dedicated services like MailChimp or Aweber. It's just not very streamlined and logical.
  • There needs to be more flexibility in importing contacts. Currently, you can only import if you have an email and a name which obviously a lot of systems don't. It makes manipulating data by importing very difficult and the 'having to have a first name' is not even consistent with the system itself.
  • The iPhone/Android app is not quite doing it for me - very hard to navigate currently.

  • the timeline feature is not intuitive- it does not allow you to have different timelines interconnected with other projects and makes it different to put a large scale plan in place.
  • They do not have a mobile app and the mobile page's functionality is not very intuitive.
  • Workamajig requires a lot of up front training to know/understand all of the functionalities and can take away from team productivity.

There was a little bit of a learning curve and some bumps along the way to managing this platform, but AgileCRM appears to be responsive to any challenges that arise, which I consider to be of vital importance.

The training sessions are very helpful, because you have specialist that is available to answer any questions, guide you and coach you on how to dominate a certain feature of the platform. That being said,Whenever I have an issue that needs to be resolved, I can send email or call a support line. I usually use the support line.

Online Training

Each section of the AgileCRM platform has an instructional video that describes in detail all of the features of that section. I found this to be very instructional way to learn about each section. Whenever I had more questions, I could always schedule a conference call with a tutor..

Daylite is not as robust of a program but their mobile options are far superior and are best for smaller companies

This products Starts with a free Limited version. You can upgradeTo an affordable paid version with minimal features. There's also an enterprise version which is what I have. It's much more expensive, however it allows me to access the full range of features available.

Return on Investment

  • All contact data is in one spot
  • You can see a detailed view of each contact's deal history
  • It is a more affordable option than some CRMs

  • During the launch time of WMJ to the agency, the ROI was down due to the time spent training and learning the new ways it worked.
  • Once the team has gotten up to speed on it, it has allowed the team to become more efficient with the timelines and budgets and a better way to monitor both quickly.
  • As we use it more and add more specific add-ons catered to our company, it should continue to improve ROI because we will have increased speed with timelines and estimates to clients and the teams will have a better handle on daily tasks.
