Their promises are empty and not kept. Their customer service is arrogant, rude and totally unhelpful. We paid $5000 up-front for a system that was going to automate our processes and save us lots of time, in fact, has been the total opposite, it has consumed ridiculous amounts of our time dealing them to get any sort of basic functions working while being abused by their "customer service". Now after 4 months some basic functions work but none of the time-saving automation works, they REFUSE to refund our money and continue to be unhelpful, rude and abusive

One specific scenario where QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise is well suited for is managing our operations side of the real estate business. It allows us to set our budgets, follow those budgets and see in real time where our money is going. This has allowed us to manage the budgets at various facilities and allocate money appropriately to the areas where we are spending it the most or the areas where we need to spend more money on or allocate more money towards. It has helped us see where we have had some trouble spots so that we can address them.

- Around 18 months ago I started conversations with Orderhive as a potential vendor to run a large portion of our ecommerce business. It seemed promising, and the idea that the Plus (now called Enterprise) solution was customisable was the reason I decided to select Orderhive.
- There was a significant amount of due-diligence from my end. It took me around 6 months to get my head around what features the software currently had, and what we would need to have Orderhive complete as a customisation.
- This in itself was also quite a bit of work - there were a number of revisions to the contract documents, created by a non-technical sales representative. My concerns started around this point when I was unable to speak with a technical representative to discuss, in more detail, how each feature would work.

- Few banks do not provide bank feeds, converting PDF's to bank feeds is challenge.
- If Quick Enterprise can build its own utility where we can convert PDFs to bank feeds. That would be great.

We've been using QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions from when the business started, 11 years ago. I don't see us changing programs any time soon as it is working pretty well for us now. It would be extremely time consuming to start from scratch with a new accounting or inventory management program.

I like the QuickBooks Enterprise edition so much I moved my company to it this year. I like the overall functionality of the program and I am very familiar with the user interface which makes my job easier. One of the things I dislike about the online version it is not modeled after the desktop edition and I have a hard time getting around in the program.

Very rare do I call the Quickbooks Enterprise Solutions support staff and I get a customer service associate quickly. On average, my wait time is near an hour, and at times even longer. After spending the first three minutes discussing my problem, they then begin to poke and prod around, sometimes the questions continue. But 80% of the time, the problem is over their head and they have to escalate the issue. The only problem is this escalation arrives usually after spending forty-five minutes poking and proding around but learning nothing. In short, my experience is rarely all that well, let alone great

easy to learn system, specially with some kind of support. Just like with any other system, things get lot easier if you have guidance to lead you in your search for answers. having said that, QB is very easy to use and very easy to teach. you wont spend much time memorizing where to click.

If you're loading QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions onto a computer that you're going to directly log into, you should be able to do it yourself. If you are going to connect to a server through a network or remote connection, you should probably have a professional IT person set it up for you.

Orderhive attempts to do too many features, and each of those features is totally underdeveloped. The reason for choosing the Orderhive plus/enterprise solution in the first place, was so that we would be able to strengthen these features in our custom implementation, as well as additional custom business processes. Unfortunately, since Orderhive has been unable to deliver on this, the entire effort has been a loss.

All competitors do invoice and a/p. Many of the listed competitors do better asset tracking and inventory. The larger packages get too complex too quickly and become an administrative burden as well as an implementation burden. QuickBooks is easier to set up the COA and modify the COA. Reporting in the other packages ranges from worse to better with the better providing third-party embedded tools that outshine QuickBooks.
