Selected screenconnect because we only use it for remote connection and transferring files. It was a lot less expensive and allowed us to replace LogMeIn Central and LogMeIn Rescue subscriptions saving us thousands per year in fees.
RDP was simply too unpredictable and occasionally inaccessible to the end user. TeamViewer worked well, but the branding and continuous connections with ConnectWise Control make for a more professional experience and look.
With both TeamViewer and LogMeIn, supporting new clients was cumbersome. Getting the initial session started, configuring unattended access when necessary, etc, are all FAR easier using ScreenConnect. Pricing with TeamViewer and LogMeIn is also prohibitively expensive. For …
Bad experiences with ConnectWise platforms in general ruled it out for us at this point in time. To be fair this was not really ConnectWise's fault more the team that set things up poorly leading to significant issues across the system.
Take Control's feature set blows LogMeIn out of the water, however LogMeIn's general performance once connected, destroys anything that Take Control can currently provide.
I use both SolarWinds MSP Anywhere and ScreenConnect. SolarWinds MSP Anywhere is perfect for MSP clients on account and with an agent installed. It's integrated and makes all the connected tasks easier and the workflow is improved.
