I have used DashThis with all my clients, because it is the fastest, easiest, and best-developed reporting platform. I have tried Google Data Studio and many other reporting integrations, but they just don't have the speed or capabilities of DashThis.With in-depth filtering, you can create reporting modules not available in any other dashboard, like deep source-medium targeting or landing page data, etc. Whatever data you need, you can get access.Their API integrations are increasing all the time, and if they don't currently connect to something, request access.

SharpSpring

Over the past several years, SharpSpring has become my preferred solution for small to medium businesses. It has probably 90% of the features that you'll find with the enterprise solutions and is much more intuitive than the competition. Additionally, they pretty much include all of their features in the price. There really aren't upsells or upgrades to get more features. Some tools are better than others. I really like the CRM, Email, & Marketing Automation components. The Landing Page builder is okay but very limited and doesn't take too well to custom HTML code. I probably wouldn't recommend SharpSpring for an enterprise-level customer because it isn't as customizable as many of the enterprise-level marketing automation platforms. For the prices, features, and ease of use, it really is hard to beat.

  • Crm, with custom fields that can be customized per organization
  • Sales pipelines, which lets you track an opportunity along the sales process. Can implement automation with tasks creation, emails to prospect and notifications
  • Email marketing with easy to use email builder. Campaigns can be sent out manually or automatically. Can also be used for templated emails to send to contacts.

  • I'm interested in implementing more tools into the system, such as Google My Business or OpenTable to truly make it a universal analytics dashboard.
  • Instead of just month over month date ranges, I would also like to see a YTD date range.

  • Custom Form Field - Weakest point of the software for me. Hard to make custom field and options are limited
  • Nuanced Automations are Hard - Lacking some more advanced automation capacities and options
  • Hard Bounces / Suppressions - Very aggressive suppression engine means that active subscribers are "bounced" then removed from email lists suddenly without much recourse

This rating is coming from an administrative perspective. With so many features, workflows, dashboards, and more, there is certainly a lot going on, and even the most savvy software user can get a little overwhelmed when trying to decide how to best implement and utilize the platform to its full potential. That being said, the SharpSpring platform is well-implemented and well-organized, with most solutions being fairly intuitive, once you have a grasp of the software. It is fairly easy to learn, but difficult to master. Just like any powerful platform, however, the complexity is worth it, and once you are comfortable navigating and problem solving within SharpSpring, it becomes a great marketing and sales tool which can do virtually anything you need it to.

The support is great which really helps overcome challenges if you become stuck and the training videos are great too. Same-day replies are great and I even got some help with some CSS code on the chat. Not many organizations would do this or even respond.

Overall I would say to be patient and bring everyone who will be touching the platform to the onboarding sessions. The Virtual Classroom lets you onboard as quickly or slowly as you want. Sales, marketing, design, account management, get 'em all in on it. For the most part, they will be happy to use this platform. I recommend getting as many people as possible to see the SharpSpring demo.
