Likelihood to Recommend We're a nonprofit organization so we have a very lean time, labor, and money so the super easy self-explanatory nature makes it easy for our team to admin an event. The simple UI [of Eventbrite] keeps our focus on the event and avoids any headache-inducing tech hurdles. There're just enough user roles to handle multi-staffer admin. A less appropriate situation is an event that is huge in complexity with a custom workflow and processing which Eventbrite's not built to handle in-house such as multi-step registration, multiple item and category all-select options during registration, multi-event type (not just physical or ticket but virtual goods tracking), more HootSuite-like social media refinery, etc.
Read full review I'd say mainly well suited for larger audiences. I think there's probably some products that are a little more economical for smaller audiences, but if you need a solid, reliable platform for larger audiences, say more than a hundred people. So this is the best product for that or at least top two.
Read full review Pros Event management--providing a detailed description of the event (date, time, place) plus details of the event (speakers, topic, sponsors, etc.) Registrations--provides enough details about people who register, and tools to manage those registrations (add people manually who didn't pre-register, cancel orders, check-in of attendees) Event promotion--events created using Eventbrite can be found by searching Eventbrite for local events Read full review Cisco Webex Events is very straightforward and easy to use. Setting up an event within the platform is quite simple - anyone can do it. Webex Events is a great add-on feature to the Webex conferencing platform to allow a one-way broadcast of information, rather than worrying about attendees being able to interrupt the presentation. Recording a session is fairly simple and accessing the recordings post-event is quite reliable. I believe you can also upload .mp4 files into the Webex Events platform to serve as a host. Read full review Cons I'd like to see Eventbrite add more customization to the event page layout. It would be nice to be able to differentiate our event through more specific design. I've had occasional problems with email formatting in the Eventbrite email builder. It would be nice to have a slightly more trustworthy builder. Other than those two things, I think Eventbrite does exactly what it needs to do. Read full review There always seems to be room for video quality improvement (not a necessity, but would be nice) Mobile screensharing from iOS/Android (and other mobile) devices would be a great feature The mobile app should be able to track meetings a user has been invited to, but does not do so (yet) Read full review Likelihood to Renew Excellent platform and easy to use to create events. Eventbrite sets the standard for simple, effective and safe ticketing platforms. Our customers trust Eventbrite and we've always done well when we use this platform for ticketing. They have recently updated some of the virtual connectivity tools which make it even easier to set up and promote virtual events.
Read full review Webex Webinars continues to provide exceptional value as a community engagement and professional education platform. As long as there are a multitude of event offerings and the product continues to be supported with periodic software and security updates, I can anticipate using Webex Webinars for the foreseeable future. Overall a great product!
Read full review Usability Great platform with so many incredible features. It streamlines workflow, communication, messaging, and analyzing data. I know of no other platform that can do what Eventbrite can do for the price or user-friendliness. They also offer great support for new users and integrate well with other platforms (i.e., social media and Sched).
Read full review My experience with this software is fantastic; it's so satisfying that it only took me a week to go through an internal training program to use this software, actually, I don't think this training program was necessary. Usability is one of the most fantastic features to guarantee the increase of members in remote events.
Read full review Reliability and Availability WebEx is available 24/7, as long as the user has a reliable internet connection and the WebEx servers are up (they are typically up when we need it).

Read full review Support Rating I haven't yet needed to contact customer support, but the information provided next to the various features has been exceptionally helpful. This info is located just to the right of most options, and it provides answers to frequently asked questions. At this point, that information has been enough to keep me from having to contact anyone.
Read full review I love the control that this product gives to those running the meetings. It allows you to assign presenter roles to people and everyone else that is an attendee can be totally controlled, like whether they can unmute, use video or just sit there and watch. It really gives control of the meeting to those who are running it. And we love that ability for those meetings that we are trying to make sure people are listening in on instead of trying to participate.
Read full review Implementation Rating Just jump in, don't over thinking it, doing it will net the very few basic questions you'll have. There's not much complexity so one doesn't need to plan as if moving a canal. It's as simple as can be.

Read full review Alternatives Considered My "go to" for event registration has always been
Constant Contact because they don't charge additional processing fees above the standard transaction. If it's a more basic event where I just need to capture name, email, and payment, I'll continue to use
Constant Contact over Eventbrite. However, if it's more complex and requires marketing, I would choose Eventbrite.
Read full review We actually prefer MS teams as its now easier to chat; manage virtual backgrounds, better audio, and overall more features and tools. Given we actually use MS teams for daily meetings now, it led to us also using MS Events. As a result, we began to consolidate to only using MS teams for both daily meetings and MS events for larger meetings - in lieu of Webex Events

Read full review Return on Investment A dedicated URL for each event has been easy to use for tying events to editorial content, promotion and marketing. For ticketed events, it has been an easy -to-use system without requiring a lot of training on a complicated technology. It is also competitively priced for transaction management. Whether we have discovered any Eventbrite users via the Eventbrite site promotion, we appreciate it as a recommendation of our event for like-minded event attendees.
