WatchGuard EPDR (formerly Panda Adaptive Defense 360) combines next-generation antivirus protection, endpoint detection and response (EDR), patch management, content filtering, email security, full disk encryption, and more, into one package. The platform touts a unique zero-trust security service that certifies the legitimacy and safety of all running applications thanks to a combination of automated, AI-driven processes and investigation services provided by a team of malware analysts.
Malwarebytes Endpoint Protection is an ideal solution to eliminate and prevent threats such as malware and spyware on computers. Its price is quite affordable and it is easy to use but when looking at Adaptive Defense 360 / WatchGuard EPDR, it is easy to observe a complete …
We've recently changed over to Malwarebytes Oneview, and we've seen over 1000+ more detections from Malwarebytes than Panda Adaptive Defense 360.
From highest detection difference to lowest: 1 (Highest Difference). PUP, 2. Malware, 3. PUM, 4. Exploit, 5 (Lowest Difference). …
Only Malwarebytes comes close to the ease of use and minimal system resources used. The other two are absolute garbage to use and manage. Webroot slowed down my clients' PCs so much that I switched them to [Adaptive Defense 360] and they immediately noticed the difference. I …
Why do you need to take a software that is in development 2 years behind Panda? We have seen on many security meetings that Kaspersky or Malwarebytes only are good together, why do you need 2 products instead of 1? and with the management console that looks exactly like Panda? …
We were looking for an all-in-one product to protect endpoints with EDR capabilities, [third-party] software updates, and drive encryption (Compliance GDPR). [Adaptive Defense 360 / WatchGuard EPDR] seems more simple to manage and [closer] to our requirements
Cost to feature is readily better over competitors (either feature wasn’t available from competitor OR the cost was less for WatchGuard as opposed to the competitor).
No known breaches to date, software runs as expected and allows for cloud based control as opposed to an on-site …
Malwarebytes is definitely one of the top contenders in its field. As with any corporate software, there are headaches all along the way -- from implementation to daily use and support. And cost is also a factor. Although not inexpensive, Malwarebytes is comparable to its close competitors. Overall, the quality of the product shines through, and it does what it's intended to do...protect!
Whether as a standalone solution or part of a unified platform strategy, Watchguard Endpoint Security provides high value. Our direction of going all in on Watchguard Advanced EPDR positions us to offer the best protection all the time, in every client situation. We are able to leverage our volume of business across our entire client base to bring Watchguard Advanced EPDR at a price that is on par or less than what organizations pay for lesser products. Many companies layer disparate vendor solutions that induce complexities and cost while our Watchguard unified platform strategy provides integrated threat protection.
Low system resources, it does not slow down the whole computer when scanning or when real-time protection is enabled
Quick and frequent updates, usually people hate updating, but for malware/viruses, you want to be updated as possible. It takes less than 15 seconds and usually does it automatically. They usually send a few updates a day as they find more.
Protection features actually work when visiting known bad websites. The page will be blocked and nothing will be downloaded. It may not be what the user wants, but it's what the user needs (as the user can't know every bad website)
One of the main things that malwarebytes is missing as a company, is phone support for its clients. All support questions has to go thru email only. This is not acceptable for issues that needs to be resolved quickly.
There is an issue when installing the client on a machine, it has a set amount of time where the software can register with the management server. The issue with this is, with machines that are over a wide area network, slow connection speeds can cause the software not to register. When that happens, it never re attempts to register in the future.
The last time we renewed Malwarebytes, we renewed for a 3 year renewal. That should describe the confidence we have in the product. Plus the cost savings impact year after year.
The ease of use, pricing, support, reliability, and quality of the product. Panda / WatchGuard products are highly rated, priced right and easy to maintain. All of this make it very easy to renew and purchase new licenses for us and our clients.
When you have a product that does the job that it describes or advertises, you have to love it. While the malware posture is always changing, we depend on products that we pay for year after year to protect us from threats, both known and unknown. I give this rating because Malwarebytes just works and you don't have to worry whether it is going to beat up other programs on your systems.
Easy and intuitive MSP management portal to manage all of your clients from a single pane of glass. Policies can be pushed down globally or individually based on needs. The client portal allows access to their tenant information and installs only which is nice if you are working with clients who might have an internal person or an IT team that also wants access to things to manage themself.
The software is 100% managed on a cloud platform that can be managed via an account even if they are not present within the company network where the software is installed, I even always opened the control panel on the browser of my smartphone to monitor the situation.I have never experienced any abnormal software crashes
The only annoyance I complain, if we want to be picky, is the fact of the constant disconnections from the control panel.Every about 4 hours the account logs out even if I set the "remember this device" flag; having said that I have not noticed neither slowdowns nor conflicts with other software
I honestly haven't needed support for Malwarebytes because I haven't had any problems with it, whatsoever. I am giving it a 9 rating because I haven't actually had an encounter or experience with customer service or support, so it's hard to rate the actual support team since I've never had the privilege of coming into contact with them.
I gave it a 10 because I compare it to air conditioning. I need it to work every day, 24/7. I need it to be reliable and not something that requires a ton of interaction from staff to make sure it works every day. In addition, I should be able to run other things at my house when the AC is on. Panda fits that description.
The software goes manually on a PC only on the company network and then proceeds through that PC to install the software on all the other clients through the control panel where all the clients / servers on the network are detected with extreme speed and ease of execution, even for uninstallation and remote control over scans
Avast and Norton's products were part of the testing for us but the cost was very high for them and the products were not light on the machine. They took up a lot of memory and slowed the computers down. Malwarebytes although may lack some feature, is a very light software.
Very similar. I feel like Watchguard need to get a better foothold with people trusting the name in the endpoint space. It has pretty much everything S 1 does but it also provides so much more. Simple things like patch management and encryption are fantastic adding that deliver true security value
With the implementation of watchguard (at the beginning Panda Endpoint, but it is the same) I was able to insert in the control panel all the unauthorized software previously installed by colleagues without any authorization from the various department heads. Now any licensed software goes into lockdown and can be unlocked from the control panel
[...] The ability to make website URL and category viewing restrictions resulted in higher productive personnel and reduced the risks of infection.
For the IT department, the centralised management console with all the information and tasks prepared to deploy to the endpoints helps us work more efficiently and faster.
The ROI has been really good along [the] years, with a safer environment our employees work better and without stress, that translates in productivity.
