Oracle’s Primavera is a software suite designed for construction and other asset-intensive industries. It contains a variety of project planning, management, and execution components for buyers to select from.
Microsoft Project has all the functionalities of the others and Microsoft Project responds to all our needs to control the projects. Additionally, Microsoft Project is part of our licensing of Microsoft products. This advantage is the main key to adopt Microsoft Project against …
Even though Microsoft Project is expensive, it was not as expensive as the other solutions we evaluated. The other software's that were evaluated were more expensive and required more hardware resources than Microsoft Project, the collaboration side for Microsoft Project could …
P6 is the biggest competition and, as previously noted, is the gold standard in scheduling in the construction world. We select them in some cases, and Project in other cases, depending on how much experience in scheduling the end user has under their belt.

Primavera allows several users to work in a single file at the same time. This allows the team to develop and update the project schedule for reporting much faster. Also, the user can see updates that effect logically link activities in the future easily. MS Project does not.
When compared to the likes of the field, Oracle is the least friendly in regards to being accessible to the team with Smartsheet working the most favorably in that aspect. Otherwise, Oracle's PM program is more intuitive than Microsoft Project, has more features when compared …
I have also used Microsoft Project in the past to do scheduling. While easier to use than Primavera, it does not have the same capabilities to determine CPM. Furthermore, it would not be appropriate for larger sized projects.
