Apptio provided the best specific IT Business Management (ITBM) capabilities with the fastest deployment time and least impact overall. SaaS platform was an important plus, as well.

There is no true competitor that is even comparable to allowing the same capabilities and benefits Apptio provides. It is ground breaking in every sense of the word and will make a huge difference for each and every customer. It can be very complex at times, but like everything in life anything worth implementing takes time, effort, and some growing pains.

We looked at VMWare and Nicus products. We selected Apptio for their standardized data model, support for Enterprise Business Management, the role of the TBM Council driving the practice and incorporating into their development, along with strong referrals from peers who already purchased it across our industry vertical.
