We both learned a lot during the implementation. It took an incredibly long time, but I don't think Arena had ever worked with a company that had so much information to move into the application. In the end, it worked out. Very satisfied with the implementation team.

We had a difficult implementation primarily because our existing data was kept in spreadsheets and text files, and had to be manually collected and converted. We performed these tasks with in-house resources rather than contracting an outside firm to manage the implementation.

As mentioned in last question, the implementation team mainly consisted of Doug Johnston performed an outstanding job at helping us to integrate our electronic CAD system with Arena and bringing up our electronic component database which had truly shown Arena's useful capabilities. We were extremely satisfied with the Arena implementation team.

As we were new a new company and first to market the implementation of our product and thus Arena was delayed. Arena was pretty simplistic to deploy with the help of our implementation person. The delays were on our side only.

Arena was implemented a year before I started here but from what I understand it was easy to deploy and it implemented on time. We had a very able implementation manager that put in place all the necessary procedures and had all the necessary inputs from the different functional groups within the organization.

At the time, there wasn't an "implementation" team. It required hiring an Arena specialist to set us up but in hindsight, there should have been more oversight because although he knew Arena well, he didn't know hardware components well.

I was not part of this experience. Arena has been in use at my current company for many years. The revision roll-out webinars, however, have been very useful, as are the training videos.

I was not involved with the initial implementation. However, the ERP implementation took several months and we had to hire a contractor to do it. The solution relied on exports from Arena and complex scripting within our Netsuite ERP system. It is unclear whether the long lead time was the fault of Arena or if it was a bad contractor. However, it was made plain AFTER the system was in place that there was no pre-built solution to handle the Arena to Netsuite connector.

We entered all our data into Arena, uploaded all our BOM's, and everything went smoothly. It took a little time to get used to, but only because of the horrible PLM system we were converting from. We were able to transfer all our data and be up and running by the forecast we had set for ourselves. We've been extremely satisfied with our experience over the past few years.

Our rollout of Arena was complex and took about 10 months. The consultant who represented Arena was very professional and made the complexity less complex. We presented many challenges which he met head-on. He was always available for questions. The few times since I have requested assistance from the help desk have been productive.

Yes implementation was easy and user friendly. One of the quickest I have ever seen. I would like the integration to other software(s) to be easier and not so costly, like how the adapter for SAP is 60,000.

I was not part of the implementation team as it was implemented before I joined the company. We are a start up so I would imagine there was not a lot of data to load only choices on how to use it and what that configuration would look like. I can't comment on any other aspects of this.

With the help of Arena support and their expertise I did it with in two weeks. We meet almost everyday with information's on how we want to incorporate into our business model and Arena, Arena team are very helpful and work with us very closely to meet our deadline.
