Companies can't remove reviews or game the system. Here's why

Skype is used in two main ways with my production company. First of all, it's a useful way to video chat for people who don't own Apple products (otherwise we would use Facetime) and who don't want to bother with meeting links (otherwise we would use Zoom). The second use is that we record podcasts and Skype not only allows us to all dial-in together but serves as a recorder that later we can extract the file to post for our audience.

Skype is currently being used by my organization as our collaboration and instant messaging tool. We also leverage it for one-off phone calls with one another. It has addressed a big need for collaboration throughout the period of Covid-19, but we have not leveraged the tool for its full potential and am actually moving away from it to be replaced by a Cisco product. I can appreciate how well integrated the tool is, which enables me to reach anyone across my organization of thousands of people. It's also integrated with Outlook so reflects a real-time status (e.g. if I'm in a meeting or on a call).

Skype is an easy way for us to connect with clients and prospective customers in other countries. Most of the time our customers have their own Skype account so we are able to connect for free. If they don't, the rates to dial a phone in another country are very reasonable.

I use Skype to keep in touch with key team members. We all use it for screen sharing and quick updates because everybody is familiar with it and knows what to expect. We can check in rapidly and call each other on demand because we all have it installed.

I use Skype most frequently to message my bosses' quick questions, as we're still virtual and I can't just go to her desk. It's also integrated into Outlook, so sometimes I use Skype to schedule meetings.

Skype is what I might call a secondary app. We have used Skype and atone time it was our main app. However in the last year we have moved to other apps. Skype was replaced with Teams by one of our largest clients and we decided to follow their lead. We also use WhatsApp for personal purposes.

My organization is quite small (I'm a sole proprietor) and so I use it for international audio calls when I'm traveling abroad. It helps me maintain critical lines of communication whenever I need them. I use it instead of an assortment of other similar products and find that it does what it's designed to.

Skype is used by our organization for a quick and simple way to IM and call coworkers throughout our whole organization. It helps facilitate fast communication so our teams can get their answer and move forward as effectively as possible. It also helps in sharing connections between teams and organizing communications by groups.

We have had to use it and set it up for other users outside the district. We have incorporated more Microsoft Teams into most of our online corroboration. But there are still staff members that need to have a call set up with a third party. But with so many other options out there. I feel Skype has lost it's edge.

We use Skype across our U.S. offices to send messages to colleagues in real-time when it is more effective to chat than to send emails back and forth. We have also used it in the past to set up video calls, although since Zoom and Microsoft Teams emerged as top solutions during the pandemic, we have mostly relied on those platforms since they are also used frequently by our clients and business partners.

Skype is being used across the entire organization of about 800 full-time employees plus many more contractors, interns, consultants, etc. Some departments use the tool and all of its function more than any others, but the whole organization uses it for video calls, voice calls, and instant chat. It solves most problems for remote collaboration and connection since we have many remote employees and the change in location status due to the pandemic situation.

We mainly use Skype for:
  • Internal video calls and screen sharing.
  • Easy and affordable tool for foreign calls (you can purchase a small credit for every user, so he can make foreign calls from everywhere at affordable prices).
  • Get a local phone number for customers (but it is not perfect, see cons).

We use Skype both for internal communication between employees and for communication with our clients. Currently, Skype works perfectly on any devices such as PC, tablets and smartphones. We sell a wide range of electronic components, and if a customer asks for support, it is sometimes difficult to describe a problem with a device or even the device itself in words. Therefore, in our case, when communicating with clients, the ability to transmit multimedia information in real time is very important. In addition to the fact that there are video calls in Skype, it is possible to transfer large files through its chat, even a few Gb in size.

Skype is being used as a communication tool within our company as a means to connect us via departments and organizations as a whole. it helps us keep in contact with one another faster than traditional emails and even phone calls. due to the pandemic, we needed to communicate and share our work across great distances and Skype helped us solve this problem.

Skype is used within the company to facilitate communication and interaction between employees and between employees and customers. The program allows quick communication between users in an intuitive way adding several functionalities to your system. Video calling, chat and sending files are the features we use most within our company.

Skype is being used as a communication system for instant messaging and for conducting calls and meetings across the entire organization globally. It is used for sending heavy files quickly across to other users, to chat with one or multiple colleagues at the same time, to conduct audio or video calls, and screen sharing with others.

I use it for coaching and for my clients to learn content online. I am the sole owner of the business, I have no employees, I am the sole user, and I utilize it to contact clients via messaging and video calling and conduct group coaching on there as well. It helps solve geographical limitations with clients around the USA and the global marketplace. It is an excellent alternative to other platforms out there, as it is free and you just need a WiFi connection. I have found a lot of people like the Skype platform because it’s so simple and easy to use. It’s come a long way since it began and they keep adding more and more features that are helping me gain traction and gain new business. It’s a great tool to stay connected with people and my clients.

I am currently using Skype to communicate with my client who lives in Canada in lieu of calling each other for a project we’re working on. I do this with a variety of clients that live abroad because it’s an easy, free solution that we can use for several hours without worrying about the connection cutting out or running out of time on the call limit.

Our organization connects families in the Unites States with orphan communities in developing countries. Each family sponsors an orphan and commits to talk with their sponsored child multiple times per month. Skype is used to connect these families with the children over video calling. It is an essential technology for our mission.

Skype for online tertiary tutoring is a boon! Straightforward to use, easy to organize contacts, save conversations and shared files, and sharing the screen plus record is wonderful. Highly recommended also for clients in the same city as you~ sometimes life is such a juggle, for the client also, and the ease and convenience of using their phone or computer...dynamite.

My company uses Skype for meetings with general contractors. These meetings are typically done face-to-face, but occasionally the GC finds it more convenient to meet via video conference. Skype has helped make communication with GCs easier since we no longer have to worry about going to them/them coming to us, which is nice considering most GCs are located in different cities than us.
