Can make backup and recovery from failure or mistakes almost instantaneous.
Has saved a lot of money in labor from having to rebuild systems or even recreate work that was lost
Even smaller problems with some virtual machines can be easily resolved by just restoring to a previous point that was working. As the configuration of these machines do not change often.

We backup over 220 VMs in our environment.
We have had very few times when we needed to restore a systeme, but when we did we used Instant Recovery and had the VMs back up in about 20 minutes.
Has been very useful for our DEV team to restore a copy of a database to another place and use it for testing.
