Formerly Veeam Backup & Replication

We are using Veeam Backup & Replication as we have manual backup issues and difficulty doing manual backups and storing them on multiple storage locations. Veeam Backup & Replication solves all of our problems, we can schedule backups and set different storage locations like local, network, or cloud. It generates alerts for completion of backups and it is very easy to manage backups.

We use it to backup servers and computers that contain mission-critical information. We have a server that runs as the main point and then a Synology NAS that handles the storage side of things. Veeam Backup and Recovery allows us to do full image backups along with incremental backups that allow for us to be more disaster-ready.

Veeam Back & Replication is our enterprise-wide backup product. We use it to backup all of our production and development servers, running Windows and Linux. We also use it to backup Oracle and SQL Databases and a number of other applications that are critical to our organization's needs.

We use Veeam Backup & Replication to back up almost all of our virtual machines. Before we were using Veeam, for a lot of the virtual machines there was no backup of we were using Windows Server Backup. This also meant that we hadn't had a good overview of what virtual servers we made backups off and which ones we didn't. To get an overview and backup of almost all of our machines we started to look for a good backup software provider to use for our environment. Personally, I had deployed Veeam at a few other companies I work to add and had a good experience with it. We started a trial and the results were promising. We bought the most basic version at the time of Veeam and have been using it without any problems since that time. The license is converted to another version during our license terms and currently, we're using the Enterprise Plus Edition (Essentials). In a few months, our license is up for renewal and my guess is that we're gonna renew and extend our license to backup even more of our virtual machines.

We are designing an energy monitoring system for the customer. This system has many physical and operating system components. To increase the reliability of the system, we use backup software. We are installing Veeam Backup & Replication on a virtual system, and it is taking of backup all system components to where we want, like storage or where it is installed. Also, it has to recover plan functions. We use it for emergency purposes.

After attempting to use another backup solution from a SaaS provider and partner, we decided that we needed to explore an option that allowed our team to manage backups, restorations, and data storage ourselves. As a financial institution, we are tasked by our board of directors to self-host as much of our data infrastructure as possible, and the idea of having our data stored in the "cloud" was not appealing to them. We worked with one of our partners to evaluate and deploy Veeam, and we could not be happier with the outcome. We are able to control our backups and data storage, and maintain control of the backup locations. We have implemented immutable storage with another of our partners and would highly recommend Veeam, as well as Red Hat Enterprise Linux coupled with immutable storage as a long-term solution for storing essential data and ensuring that it is not compromised by a malicious actor attempting to compromise your stored information with ransomware. Installation and deployment was well documented and streamlined, and we are up and running with minimal management and engineering oversight. An excellent product and team, and we could not be happier with the final outcome.

We rely on Veeam to create and manage backups for all production databases and application servers. In the past, before using Veeam, we once lost 2 months' worth of production data that had to be reworked. Thanks to Veeam, we're able to achieve a recovery time of fewer than 15 minutes on our most critical production databases. We have proprietary data that has been generated and maintained over the last 40 years, and Veeam helps ensure that data is protected at all times. As the head of the IT department, Veeam helps me stay confident that our data is safe, even in the worst-case scenarios.

We use Veeam Backup & Replication to back up our critical on-premise and remote workloads to on-premise storage and replicate to AWS for disaster recovery purposes. Veeam Backup & Replication protects our virtual infrastructure in our Colocation DC and two regional warehouses.

I currently use Veeam to supplement our backup environment and archive VMs as a backup to another product. Veeam provides a more intuitive backup interface and the gzip compression saves a ton of space on our secondary backup server. Our other product does not offer the same level of compression and lacks features.

Provides a high quality backup simple backup solution for 2-3 workstations on a daily basis. It’s simple/intuitive and easy to setup/administer. Requires minimal to no active management of software to perform its function. Meets and exceeds expectations.

We use Veeam Backup & Replication to backup our entire Hyper-V infrastructure. It has saved us on many occasions and has been a robust and cost effective solution. We have tried other solutions and none has match up to the flexibility that Veeam offers. Veeam support has been effective on the few times we have needed to use it.

I used Veritas Backup Exec for 22 years and decided I needed a better product. Veeam was the answer for our 100% Virtual Environment, we love the product and have no issues.

We use this to back up our entire virtualized environment and a couple of physical servers. We also move backups to tape and back up testing via Surebackup. We have even used it to do file and email restores. The software takes care of all our nightly backups.

We use Veeam Backup & Replication and all virtualization environments to get a good level of data protection.

I use Veeam Backup and Replication Community Edition to backup servers. This includes Windows, CentOS, and a file share. There are 9 jobs. I am impressed with the features, reporting, notifications, and ease of use. I could easily manage many more backup jobs. I have practiced single file restores and an entire machine restores to Hyper-V. Both work fine. I have no doubt a bare-metal restore will work as well. Do not hesitate to try out Community Edition.

We backup our mail server with it and it runs jobs every 6 hours. It works flawlessly and was a breeze to set up. We run the jobs to two different storage locations one of which is remotely accessed. Both backup jobs are always operating fine as Veeam Backup & Replication will retry if for some reason the mail machine is not accessible to the system. I love it and won't look back since using Veeam Backup & Replication!

We have used Veeam for multiple purposes but overall, our primary and secondary (offsite) backup solution for an internal and external business. We implemented our disaster recovery solution with Veeam to back up all infra and data and replicate the environment to offsite (excellent replication) for any DR incident we may experience.

This is a fantastic product that is yet to fail me. For more than a decade I've used Veeam products for backing up my critical data and this product is more than exceeding those expectations. I've always recommended it to my employers and other clients whenever I'm asked my opinion on whatever backup software they need. I am yet to see a need for something for this software that it cannot fulfill because it doesn't exist yet.

We originally used backup exec. It was painful to use and didn't support the modern technologies we needed. We looked into backup solutions and found Veeam a good candidate. We use Veeam for backup of physical and virtual infrastructure (VMWare), We are a company spanning multiple sites, have a disaster recovery site managed via Veeam, and utilize cloud storage for off-site backups.

I have used the actual backup suite to fully back up Vmware VM's for a external site which has always been a simple and straightforward procedure. I have recently used Veeam Backup & Replication to transfer vms from an old 5.5 vSphere to a new esxi platform and that was a breeze. Not having to use WinSCP saved me a ton of time and I would recommend to use Veeam for this use case or to backup small sites as it makes it simple and easy to use!

Backup productions VMs in vSphere Clusters. This is the most reliable product with many functions that support all business aspects. It gives you peace of mind knowing your data is in a safe place and ready to recover with minimum downtime for your business.

We currently use Veeam Backup & replication to protect two separate, medium-sized VMWare environments. Each environment has in the region of 200 VM's protected. We found Veeam to be efficient and generally straightforward for both taking and managing backups and bring us into compliance for disaster recovery policies in place in the business.

We backup 7 virtual hosts and 25 Virtual machines spread across those. Each one backs up to a NAS staggered throughout the week, and then replicates to another offsite backup. We also utilize Veeam cloud backup. Veeam allows us to recover data quickly and efficiently, and protects our patient data.

We used Veeam Backup & Replication to enhance our current backup solution at some of our remote sites that we did not have licensing for our primary backup software. Veeam community edition fills in the gap with no charge for using the community edition and meets all of our backup/recovery/replication needs.
