Overall Satisfaction with AB Tasty

We use AB Tasty to optimize the Pets at Home site and carry out A/B testing. Several departments use the tool as the tool offers much more than just A/B Testing. The ability to change our site in real-time, serves an experience that helps the end-user.
  • Real-time changes - Ability to change and set an experience live in minutes. Without the need of a developer.
  • Widgets - Being able to easily create experiences live with the ready to use widgets available from the AB Tasty library.
  • Targeting experiences - Wide range of targeting options available, which allows us to easily target different customers and segments.
  • Variation editor - It's pretty great but definitely room for improvement. More functionality would be great.
  • Being able to improve customer experience online has definitely been a positive of AB Tasty.
  • Improve the UX and user journey on site has definitely helped with AB Tasty which in return helps ROI.
AB Tasty team are amazing, my CSM is great and they help with building tests and setting up experiences that we require there assistance with.
Fairly easy--did require support from other teams, but nothing too complex.
AB Tasty is great, probably the best optimizing tool you can use. Easy, loads of features, great support from CSM. Great variation editor whereas Monetate and VWO don't have a lot of features/widgets. Optimizely is good but again not a lot of capability without a dev. Whereas AB Tasty you can do quite a bit with general HTML/CSS knowledge.
If you need to inform customers of a change for e.g. delivery delays you can easily do something like this in real-time via AB Tasty, without the need to wait for an overnight propagation, which some CMSs require.

Yes - Being able to have a dedicated CSM on our account is useful as they are aware of how our sites work. Instead of just having multiple people from the support team handle requests. Paying for the extra support is useful when you need requests to be handled quicker instead of waiting from someone from the support team to pick the ticket up.
Yes - Not all bugs are fixed, this is either due to the tool or the way our site works. Bugs with experiences are definitely fixed in an ideal time but other bugs with the tool still haven't been fixed (e.g. changing the image in the variation editor doesn't work, this still hasn't been fixed by AB Tasty).
Support is good, but it would be better if it was quicker or if AB Tasty provided a quicker SLA. At times, you require stuff urgently but AB Tasty support isn't as quick as I personally like it to be.
