Overall Satisfaction with Mailchimp
We had a very, very non-user friendly e-mail list that we used to promote sales and events to our customers, and after a series of events at our college (including Covid and a network outage), we lost the ability to use that e-mail list. I immediately turned to Mailchimp and it answered my prayers and more - it is so easy to use and takes away the majority of my stress when it comes to sending out a mass e-mail to thousands of recipients. It not only looks more professional, but it makes my life so much easier.
- The ability to schedule out when emails go out to your audience.
- The ability to make a simple email look professional and legitimate.
- The various templates that are provided can help you put together an email in minutes!
- Learning how to import contacts can be a little confusing at first.
- I wish there were a few more options for which plan to sign up for to fit our audience size.
- The audience dashboard could be a little clearer.
- We have received more orders on our website than ever before.
- I personally save so much time creating emails ahead of time and scheduling them out.
- Our emails look more professional.
I used to spend a lot of my time exporting from some programs into our old listserv program, but now, it is so easy to manage it all at one time in Mailchimp. I wear a lot of hats in our organization (even more since Covid!) so any time I can save on projects is vital, and using Mailchimp for all of it has saved me a ton!
Our emails reach more people than ever before, leading to an increase in online sales, which is now a crucial part of our business. One of the most important lessons I've learned is to create and schedule emails when I have the time. I've also learned to pay attention to the click rate data that Mailchimp provides, allowing you to learn what emails are working with your audience and what is not.
