Overall Satisfaction with ActiveCampaign
We've been using ActiveCampaign going on two years. I first set up ActiveCampaign as an email marketing program to send out emails as needed, then set up email sequencing for lead magnets. Now we use the CRM side of ActiveCampaign with automations set up for leads and it is a huge component of our onboarding process for new clients.
I currently have my sales department using ActiveCampaign. We have outgrown our previous client management program and have since moved over our lead pipeline and workflow automations to ActiveCampaign and it's worked out very well.

- Email Marketing
- Client Relations Management Tool
- Email Automations
- Contact Segmentation
- It felt more overwhelming to jump into and get started than other email marketing programs.
- I was offered a free quick consultation that goes over basic functionalities but only after a year passed -- it would have been helpful earlier into purchasing my plan originally.
- I'll be honest, it took me 9 months to dive into ActiveCampaign because of the perception that this program wasn't as user friendly as other marketing platforms.
- Now that I've built out and have upgraded my plan to include the CRM functionalities, ActiveCampaign is a program we use in our organization daily, an integral part in our client nurture and new client onboarding processes.
I chose ActiveCampaign over other email marketing platforms because of their amazing segmentation and the options to build out intricate email sequencing using rules and actions.
I was also incredibly impressed with the CRM they've built to incorporate automation, tracking, and more for leads and the conversion to deals.
While I continue to build my mailing list, I know that the advanced tagging options are going to come in handy to help track new contacts to help document where they came from.
