Overall Satisfaction with ADP Workforce Now

ADP is being used across the whole organization with online benefits enrollment, time and attendance, payroll, and HRIS.
  • Benefits set-up.
  • General ledger.
  • Customer service.
  • Ability to deal with someone in the tax department directly.
  • Being able to import mass pay changes is a great feature! That saves us hours and hours of having to enter each pay change manually.
  • We have implemented the Wisely Pay Card and has been great for our employees that do not want a traditional direct deposit account. This saves us from having many uncashed checks.
I have worked with ADP for many years and gone through the many different platforms that ADP has offered. They do provide products that will grow with your company. I do like that they will roll out new services but if you are not ready to use it, you don't turn it on but it is available to turn on when you are ready. I have even had ADP reps reach out to let me know of services that are offered that I didn't know about it and it was free!
  • We have carrier connection feeds set up to go out to our benefit carriers.
It does take time to set up the feeds. However, in my experience, once you are assigned a specialist, they are really good at assisting getting this set-up and providing accurate information to our different carriers. These feeds save us so much time and the accuracy we have between the information in ADP to what the benefits carriers have on their end is 100%.
The payroll feature in ADP is better than UltiPro or Paycom. In UltiPro, you are unable to set up batches before you process the payroll. You have to run the payroll first and then go and enter the changes. I hated this as I had to hold on to manual one time changes until payroll was processed instead of just adding it to a batch before payroll is processed. This added on time to how long it took me to process payroll. In my experience, the reporting in Dayforce was very difficult and not user-friendly.
ADP Workforce Now is well suited for our mid-sized organization. The system is very user-friendly. I can manage regular employees paid through WFN and also temporary employees in WFN. I am able to process payroll and run reports out of one system. Custom reporting is easy to use and if there was an issue, the custom reporting team at ADP is great to work with to help you build the report you need. I do think that the Time Off function could use some updates. When managing PTO, we can't update the PTO balances in real-time if need be.
