Overall Satisfaction with ADP Workforce Now

We use ADP for time and attendance, payroll, and human resources applications. All of our benefits are managed through ADP, and we use their retirement services. Having all of this consolidated in one program has given us the ability to streamline many duties. The employee self-services have reduced admin time looking up information that's easily available.
  • Easy user interface
  • Custom reporting
  • Time tracking ability to allocate time
  • Customer Service is very good
  • General ledger interface is difficult to manage
  • General ledger accounts mapping is highly complex
  • Would like to be able to block changes from being made during certain times (such as no changes to 401k deductions, bank accounts, and other things that affect payroll while creating/processing a payroll).
  • At times, low employee satisfaction
  • Fast processing time for payroll
  • Difficulty meshing HR and payroll functions
I would go higher, but some functions that I think should be user-generated require a service call. There is often a disconnect between departments on what should/should not be done in employee setups. More training/educational materials would be nice, but the user community is great and most questions are answered there.
  • Abila MIP
This isn't a direct integration, but it works quite well. ADP makes it easy to export payroll files for later import to our accounting software.

Do you think ADP Workforce Now delivers good value for the price?

Are you happy with ADP Workforce Now's feature set?

Yes

Did ADP Workforce Now live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy ADP Workforce Now again?

Yes

I typically have short hold times when calling for assistance. Most issues are resolved with one call, though more complicated problems can take longer. The support team is very nice and patient.
MIP Fund Accounting, Microsoft 365 (formerly Office 365), Microsoft Teams
If you just need simple payroll solutions, this may not be the best fit. But, if you have employees in multiple jurisdictions, need integrated payroll and benefits/human resources applications, this is the way to go. Their support teams are great, and problems are almost always solved while on the phone or in a chat.
