Overall Satisfaction with ADP Workforce Now
We use Workforce Now for our payroll, HR, and recruiting needs. It is how we implement performance reviews from managers to employees, manage time off, and how employees elect benefits. While Human Resources primarily uses ADP daily, our managers and employees use ADP for their pay and tax information, benefits and deduction information, organizational hierarchy, and our performance review cycle. ADP keeps all of our HR functions under one program, making it easy to implement our functions while also allowing space for employees to use self-service and find the information we have in ADP about benefits, pay, and policies.
- Payroll Services are super easy to use and allows us to double check with previews.
- Self-Service for employees benefit changes and open enrollment.
- Data tracking, analytics, and reporting on all HR aspects and employee data along with the ability to make custom parameters and reports that suit our needs.
- Imports for mass changes that allow me to use spreadsheets to implement mass changes quickly instead of updating each employee profile.
- The homepage allows us a space to put important employee information like newsletters, major policy updates, and employee recognition. We also can imbed links to external resources like our benefit providers logins for employees who need to make claims etc.
- View as a user needs to be improved so I can view all aspects of ADP as another user. Sometimes I cannot guide employees or managers through processes because their ADP setup, by nature of not allowed access and permissions, looks vastly different than mine. Also as I am not a "Manager" I have no idea what that potion of ADP looks like for guiding managers to implement goals or manage their team's PTO requests.
- I wish the message center was searchable. Sometimes I need to find a specific message or notification and I have to filter and scroll to try and find it. I wish I could either search or flag/pin specific notifications I know I will need to refer back to later.
- For recruiting, I wish the flow of the page was easier to work with. I spend a lot of time going back and forth between the requisitions and applications pages. I wish the applications page was always just a slide out of the requisition page-or that I could see more details of the requisition on the applications page.
- ADP Workforce Now Performance Review Center is always lagging and doesn't load correctly.
- Easy to use data and analytics to improve DE&I.
- Comparing employee compensation all in one data center to assist in increases for those who are most out of market
- Hired 10 people in 3 months and was able to track all onboarding and paperwork within ADP and setup standard onboarding programs for them to complete in ADP on their own time.
- Fewer mistakes on Payroll as we can flag errors with the preview function. Sometimes it is an actual wrong number on our end and other times it helps us flag that we didn't take someone off of their "Leave" status yet so they received double payment for leave and then the hours they worked as they were actually back.
- Pay profiles in ADP allow me to see employees' YTD accruals which assist in IRS compliance yearly for 401k, FSA, and HSA as our plan year runs differently than the IRS calendar year.
- Healthcare Benefits-when employees need to adjust their healthcare benefits for a Life Event ADP allows us to properly track those changes and the benefits providers are automatically updated.
- Tax information-Employees can get tax information that we might have in another ADP system that is not Workforce Now. However, Workforce now integrates with the outside tax and finance information in Smart Compliance and shows live updates to employees.
- ADP Data Cloud is the absolute best. The easiest way is to see live analytics and live filters/adjustments instead of running reports over and over with small tweaks to compare.
All integrations have been relatively easy and in-depth in the sense that we rarely have a day where the integrations are not essential.
We integrate these two together to get the best usage from both. DataCloud in Workforce Now means that I can live filter, see, and compare analytics using data from Workforce Now. If I change an employee address in Workforce Now, DataCloud has that update immediately with the integration so I don't have to update everything twice in order to see the most up-to-date information.
