Overall Satisfaction with CaptivateIQ

The CaptivateIQ software is utilized in our organization to review our commission results at the end of every month. Every single sales representative at this company utilizes this software monthly, and it helps eliminate commission discrepancies company-wide. The biggest problem CaptivateIQ was able to solve was breaking down our commission on an account-by-account basis, rather than clustering all our commission payout in one lump. Each individual account is easily found on the Captivate review page, and it tells you exactly how much you made from every account, and even breaks up the "type" of commission For example, we get paid a percentage on Monthly Reoccurring Revenue AND for every account that signs up, so it breaks that down and tracks the payout you should be seeing every month.

  • Allows you to check to see if your commission is growing month-over-month.
  • Easily allows user to approve their commission much quicker than other traditional methods.
  • I think the user interface is already orderly and easy to use, but maybe make it easier to report a commission discrepancy through CapitvateIQ.
  • I could see where the software could be a little easier to understand if you made the layout more bold and clickable links more distinguished.
  • Nothing to really complain about.
  • Definitely the ease to track commission payouts per account.

I think any sales organization that has to track commission-based payouts, especially when there are more than 25 employees, has to have some solution for commission tracking and approval. The more traditional method of commission tracking and approving is usually cumbersome, and there are often discrepancies that are hidden because each account is not tracked individually. I could see Captivate not being entirely necessary with 10 or fewer employees, but I think it's almost a MUST-HAVE for any large sales organization.
