Overall Satisfaction with CaptivateIQ

We use CaptivateIQ to manage commission payments. For me as a rep, CapitvateIQ gives me clarity on my payouts and helps me ensure I am paid correctly for business I close. For the business, this reduces the amount of back and forth with finance whenever someone has a question about their commission payout. The main thing here is transparency for both sides

Pros

  • User Interface
  • Clear Data Outputs
  • Historical Records

Cons

  • Payout preview doesn't always load, or loads slowly
  • Notifications/integrations would be helpful i.e. Slack pings
  • Not clear what the payout review/approval process is
  • Productivity - I don't have to worry about my commission payout at all
  • Trust and alignment - I know I'm getting paid correctly every time

I think this is a great tool at a company that has grown to the point that managing commission payouts with spreadsheets isn't viable. It offers a lot of simple but smart functionality for the individual rep. It also works very well for sales organizations where the commission is based on ARR variance. I am not sure how it would handle organizations with a different commission structure i.e. commission based on retention.
