Use Cases and Deployment Scope

CaptivateIQ is used at my company to manage our Sales Compensation. CaptivateIQ addresses the issue of reps being able to see all of their commissions in detail in a timely manner.

Pros and Cons

Easy to manipulate
Quick to upload
Very similar to Excel formulas

the system does not inherently do Effective dating well in my opinion - you have to build that in yourself in my experience.
I've found there are not pre-set up templates for the reps
the formulas are sometimes not easy to follow as they are close to Excel formulas but not always exact in my opinion.

Support Rating

Support has been fantastic - they are always very quick to respond and have ideas for fixes. I would recommend this support team to anyone considering CaptivateIQ 100%!

In my opinion, CaptivateIQ is a great tool if your plans don't change throughout a fiscal year, it is also great if you do not have a need for effective dating I believe. If your plans are overly complicated the way mine are then this tool is not great in my opinion. Additionally not great if you want to show many details because the templates become a bit disjointed with too much information in my opinion.
