Overall Satisfaction with Conductor Searchlight

At Path Interactive, we use Conductor to not only keep track of our SEO campaigns, but also keep an eye on the organic performance of our clients' competitors. Conductor makes it easy to report on content visibility and performance and has lots of built-in reports. It also integrates with major web analytic platforms and SEMrush! Conductor is one of our go-to tools for providing quality digital marketing services to our clients.

Conductor is quite similar to BrightEdge in terms of features but very different in terms of user interface. BrightEdge might also be more focused on link building than Conductor is. Other tools don't really compete against Conductor and BrightEdge, with perhaps the exception of Linkdex. SEO PowerSuite's Rank Tracker is quite confusing and desktop-based (although that's not necessarily a bad thing). Other tools are more straightforward, with much more basic tracking capabilities but also much cheaper. Talk to a digital marketing consultant to help you choose the right tool for your specific business needs!

  • Make sure you have the budget for it (although some features are priced separately and can be easily added or removed from your plan).
  • Probably adds more value when access is shared with team members and/or clients.
  • Try to get a good sense of how many keywords, domains and competitors you'd like to track.
