Remote Connections Improving CPA Delivery
Overall Satisfaction with ConnectWise Control (formerly ScreenConnect)
As accountants, we enjoy the convenience of logging on remotely to client computers to update bookkeeping in QuickBooks, Sage, etc. To be sure their records are up-to-date.
Pros
- Simple interface allows quick remote access on a routine basis.
- One-time log-in functions are good to help on specific situations and questions to see what the client screens reflect.
- Security has not been a problem when remote functions are performed.
Cons
- Smaller screen interfaces are occasionally difficult to read and maneuver.
- Minor delay times seem to slow down things a little.
- Impact positive to reduce travel time or lack of updates for client accounting records.
- Impact positive to reduce time in projects & increase communication tools.
I do prefer this software and abilities. Other options had more disconnects and issues with dependability on a routine basis.
