Overall Satisfaction with Cornerstone OnDemand
Cornerstone is being used by our whole organization. For learning specifically, it's helping us accomplish the never ending question of how we can get learners to take training that isn't required of them. The learning platform has been incredible as it has allowed us to use a multitude of different learning objects. Whether that's through online classes, live trainings, materials, or video learning objects.
- One thing Cornerstone does really well is that they have a fantastic support module. The way their support model is set up allows you to have assistance all around the clock if needed.
- Another thing they do well is their overall ease of use. The platform itself is very easy to pick up on, and making it so easy saves all of end users time so they don't need to get trained up.
- Lastly, the company offers out all clients a CSM, who is vital to their success. Utilize your CSM at all costs, they're there to help!
- They can sometimes be a little slow when responding to support cases that you create.
- Pay more attention to the communities of practice, and take the suggestions to heart when administrators make them.
- They could definitely offer up a little more configuration for some of the learning tools (especially the events calendar)
- Engaged learners in courses that aren't necessarily required. Enhanced overall learning
- Really helped us with employee performance through goals, year end activities, etc.
- Negative - nothing major, just run into random system issues from time to time
Overall, Cornerstone stacked up pretty evenly with SuccessFactors. The final kicker with why we went with Cornerstone was because they were a little bit of a smaller company. Since they were a little bit smaller, that allows us as admins to have a little bit more of an input on enhancements and overall changes within the system.
