Overall Satisfaction with Deputy

We manage 51 employees who work on a weekly basis depending on their availability. Before Deputy, we used an excel document to organize the rota, send weekly reminders, and organize the payroll. Over time, we found the spreadsheet cumbersome and it lead to mistakes. It was genuinely time-consuming. Therefore, we started researching for an app that could centralize all the information and make the rota process a lot more organized and efficient. We tried some apps, as well as, Deputy. We consider that Deputy was superior compared to the other apps because it tackled the issues we were experiencing. We have been using Deputy for over three years now, Deputy made the whole rota process and allocation of shifts very easy. See below how Deputy made things easier for us: 1. The staff gets reminders (through notifications). The automated reminders addressed the issue that some staff 'forgot' that they had a shift. [The staff has] no excuses anymore. 2. The payroll is very easy to do. We just download the report and it can easily be integrated into accountant software. 3. Practically no administrative mistakes whatsoever. This means that we can focus on other things. We highly recommend Deputy.

First, we liked the name but in terms of functionality, Deputy is superior due to its responsiveness and features previously described.

No, it is very straigthforward.
Well suited Organise a complex rota system where employees are allocated shifts depending on their availability. Less appropriate Deputy is less appropriate when working in a fixed timetable environment. For example, employees [work] at an office from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm.
