Overall Satisfaction with Deputy

We use Deputy to simplify timesheet management. Started using it about two years ago when I first needed to hire people. I spent a few weeks evaluating other solutions and found Deputy to be the easiest to implement and use. It integrates with Xero, has self-service features, and doesn't cost too much. There are occasional bugs with shifts left open and syncing data to Xero, but the support has been responsive.

  • Xero sync broke twice in one year.
  • Less paperwork to do.
  • Hands off approach.
I tried a few other solutions (can't remember their names now) and Deputy was the easiest to use.

I would give it 10 if it wasn't for: - sync to Xero breaking occasionally - more flexible pricing. I use it for one employee, yet pay the same as using it for 4.
Nothing special to mention, it generally works.
