Overall Satisfaction with Dropbox Sign

I use dropbox sign to send contracts to clients and have them sign and send them back. Sometimes when they have forms for other organizations they need to fill out, I will add the fields in dropbox sign and have them complete the paperwork there. It's often easier for them to do that than to create an editable PDF. I've gotten good feedback about this process!

Pros

  • Easy for clients to use.
  • Easy signing flow.
  • Integrates with google drive.

Cons

  • Annoying that I have to pay for Sign and Fax separately.
  • Should have one account with Sign and Fax.
  • Quickly set up contracts.
  • Easy to have clients sign electronically.
  • Easy for other organizations to accept the digital signature.
Dropbox Sign is very easy for both me and my clients to use. It can be a little clunky at times if I have to add a lot of fields. I need to be careful about clients with long names being cut off. But overall it has been a great solution for my business and isn't too expensive.
I use templates, but none of the other features mentioned, I don't know about those. Maybe I should investigate more what I can do with it... I definitely don't have an advanced enough use case to need an API.
I selected Dropbox Sign because it was very easy to use, started with a free plan, and I knew that if I needed a professional plan, it would be reasonably priced. DocuSign was too expensive, and Adobe products are always hard to use and integrate with.

Do you think Dropbox Sign delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Dropbox Sign's feature set?

Yes

Did Dropbox Sign live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Dropbox Sign go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Dropbox Sign again?

Yes

It's really good for uploading documents that have already been created and adding a few fields. My clients have found it easy to use, and I haven't ever had to explain what to do or how to sign up. It can be time-consuming to set up if there are a lot of fields that need to be filled out. I had issues once where a client's name was very long, and it was being cut off in the final document.
